Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) is now declared equivalent to FSc Pre-Engineering qualification in Pakistan. DAE students will now be able to get admission to Engineering University, Management, CS, and other programs on open merit. This will benefit the millions of DAE Students.

Additionally, DAE students will also be able to apply in medical and allied health science and bio-sciences programs as Pre-Medical equivalence will also be granted to those passing biology as an additional paper.

DAE is Equivalent to 

• FSc Pre-Engineering 
• FSc Pre-Medical (those passing additional biology paper)

DAE Students can now apply for the following programs

• BSc Engineering
• BS Technology
• BS CS, IT, Software etc…
• BBA, B.COM, Management, Finance and Accounting
• Social Sciences Programs including LLB

Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Punjab, Akhtar Abbas Bharwana, termed the development as extraordinary. Mr. Abbas hoped that DAE students will benefit from this development and that more and more students will be able to pursue higher education.

Mr. Akhtar Abbas Bharwana said that matriculation students would be eligible to apply for admissions in DAE programs before the announcement of matric results. He further added that technical education is the need of the hour. “Those doing DAE, instead of FSc, get jobs in the market immediately
